SPAM Cijanggel serves Ngamprah District and Cisarua Districts. The water source from SPAM Cijanggel comes from Cijanggel River or also known as Cimahi River. The flow of raw water permitted to be used in SPAM Cijanggel is 50 liters / second. The raw water will be processed in the Muril WTP which is located in Cisarua District. Muril WTP conditions are considered not meeting the service targets due to poor quality of water received by customers. Water quality that has not been maximized due to the processing system in the Muril IPA has not run optimally. Raw water from the Cijanggel River will be flowed through the transmission system for ± 7 km which will then be passed into two settling tanks. The water goes straight into the reservoir for further distribution to customers. Initially used a filtration unit in the form of two packet filters with a capacity of 20 liters / second each. At present, the filter cannot be operated because it does not match the desired capacity so it is easy to clogging. Therefore, a drinking water treatment plant will be built to improve the quality of water distributed to consumers. The water treatment unit to be built is a complete water treatment unit consisting of a coagulation unit, a flocculation unit, a sedimentation unit, a filtration unit, and a disinfection unit. Existing reservoir with a capacity of 300 m3 will be reused. This water treatment unit is planned for the next 10 years, namely from 2019-2028. <br /> <br /> text
