The Government of the Province of West Java establish a program to make that ratio into 100% in 2018. However, until this day that number already reach 99.87%, which means there are still 0.13% or 12,073 houses left that have not feel the benefit of this program or the benefit of electricity in that matter, especially in Town of Sukabumi. There are residents that still experience the difficulty of getting some electricity into their house to the point that they have to rely on other residents of other village for the stock of electricity. <br /> <br /> With that electricity situation, it had been surveyed that a location in Sukabumi have the potential to develop a renewable energy, that is mini or micro hydroelectric power. Mini-Hydroelectric Power Plant change the potential energy of water into environment friendly electric energy with water flow and the head fall. The mountain river water can be used to move the Mini-Hydroelectric Power Plant. The potential location that had been designed is in Cimandiri river in the Village of Wangunreja, Nyalindung, Town of Sukabumi, West Java Province. The catchment area for the weir’s outlet is 277.23 km2 meanwhile the catchment for the powerhouse outlet is 371.08 km2 the water flow that will be used is 9.81 m3/s with the reliability of 54.3%. Mini-Hydroelectric Power Plant is design with run off river type that use some of the flow of Ciandiri River that enter the intake through a channel, rotate the turbine, and then the water streamed back into the main river. The result of flood flow calculation with Nakayashu method is 1024 m3/s for the weir’s outlet while for the outlet of the powerhouse is 1154.35 m3/s with the same method and the return period is 100 years. The effective head from the location analysist and topography is 28.5 m.This Final Assignment was made to design the hydraulic planning, sediment trap, headrace, settling basin, penstock, powerbouse, tailrace. The planning result of Cimandiri MiniHydroelectric Power Plant is producing power potential up to 2.21 MW with energy production potential 12.98 GWh/year annually.<p align="justify"> text |
