Summary:Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road is the most densely populated toll road in Indonesia, a density that continues to increase because the toll road is in a strategic place. The increasing volume of vehicles will have implications for increased vehicle emissions, one of which is carbon dioxide (CO2) which is one of the greenhouse gas (GHG) compounds and emissions. Increased use of motorized vehicles on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road contributed to the increase in CO2 vehicle emissions. These things provide negative externalities to the surrounding environment and the impact on the health of the surrounding community. These impacts can be prevented by the presence of the toll roadside vegetation as CO2 absorbent associated with the concept of sustainable transportation and green infrastructure. However, the toll roadside vegetation on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road looks uneven. This is not in line with the mandate of the 13th SDGs to integrate climate change as a consideration for policy, strategy and planning. Then it will be seen if the CO2 emission mechanism cannot have implications for the surrounding area. Therefore, this study will discuss the level of measurement on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road in calculating CO2 emissions issued from vehicles on the toll road. This study uses quantitative analysis methods by calculating a reasonable amount. The analysis was carried out by dividing the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road into 22 segments based on vegetation, number of vehicles, and surrounding activities. Calculating the amount of emissions is done by multiplying the number of vehicles with emission factors, fuel economy, and type of mass. For absorption ability by multiplying the amount of vegetation with absorption value per type. Based on the results of the study, the highest amount of emissions produced on August 11, 2017, and that Segment 19, the segment between the toll gates of Pondok Gede Timur and Pondok Gede Barat, has a total emissions of -0.04 tons / day, the minus sign means that the total absorption capacity in segment 19 of the existing production capacity is 0.04 tons / day.
