It would help us to decide the best candidate.
Hidayat et al. (2007) have done some researches for Indonesian climate using low spatial resolution meteorological satellite data provided by NOAA Climate Diagnostic Center. The results give Nusa Tenggara Timur as the best candidate. A higher spatial resolution meteorological data is then available, so Hidayat et al. did the similar research at the next year by adapting the methodology used by Erasmus (2000) in order to find out the average sky clearness of Indonesia in 2006 and 2007. For better result, it's better to use more data for this climate study. A nine years (2000-2008) data are used for this sky clearness' study to try to find out specific locations from the best candidate in Indonesia which has the highest sky clearness. The results will be compared with Bosscha Observatory.

text |
