Summary: | <p align="justify">This design thesis is regarding Banyuwedang Bay’s eco-tourism facility in conservation area of Mangrove Park design in West Bali National Park located in North Bali. The topic is important due to Bali Tourism development gap between North Bali and South Bali region as well as the importance of natural environment protection in West Bali National Park conservation area. The academic exercise in this thesis begin with facility programming, analyzing the existing and future condition and followed by built envoironment concept, vegetation concept, building technology, access and circulation concept that integrate tourism potential in Banyuwedang Bay’s with eco-tourism activities in the analytical method conducted include: SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity, thread), locational analysis, land use analysis, mass analysis, vegetation analysis, circulation, access analysis, and building’s technology analysis. The result of SWOT which also come strategy that expected c an be used in proglem solving. This strategy, which also come from comparative study and literature study, the elaborated to sintesized design criteria, facility programming, and design concept. <br />

For the eco-tourism facility design concept, the negative impact that may affect West Bali National Park as a conservation area are considered. The end of thesis presents eco-tourism facilities including accommodation facilities, mangrove board-walk, eco-lodge, and Jalak Bali habitat recovery.<p align="justify"> |
