Summary:Production of an oil well wil be decreased within time. In order to tackle that problem we need a method that can increase the production of an oil well. A lot of methods have been discovered to increase the production of an oil well, that method is called Enhanced Oil Recovery. One of the methods of Enhanced Oil Recovery is Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery. The usage of microbes to increase the production of the oil has been developed by companies, academias, and researchers. Computation, laboratory experiments, and field scale of microbes are continue to be developed in order to increase the production of an oil well. However, until now there is no sufficient correlation to predict the productivity idex ratio of an oil well in Microbial Enhanced Oil Recovery. This research has been done to predict the productivity index ratio of an oil well using a conventional commercial simulator. <br /> <br /> CMG simulator has been used by the author to predict the productivity index ratio of microbial huff and puff oil well. The model is made with simulator for black oil and conditions which are occurred in field scale. The model is needed to be validated by well testing. After the model has been validated then the author create a list of a parameters that are affecting the productivity index ratio of microbial huff and puff application. Then the author analized the sensitivity of each parameter and create a correlation of the data set using regression. A set of data then being analized to check the errors of the correlation. <br /> <br /> The result of the prediction of productivity index ratio that has been found really satisfies. The errors of the correlations are less than 5%. Beside of that, the analysis of the economy of the microbial huff and puff also has been analized to see the feasibility of the application of it. Microbe C is the greatest microbe that can increase the cummulative oil production of an oi well with 796.367 barrels and a revenue of 41,682.02 United States Dollars.
