Summary: | <p align="justify">Soybean is one of the most important source of food in nutrition fulfilment in the world's society. It is indicated to have a strategic role in society's life because of its increasing development prospect. The utilization of bio-fertilizer with microorganism based has been pursued by using microalgae as its source. In this research, attempts of giving microalgae based (Spirulina sp.) foliar fertilizer have been done with aim to determine the optimal concentration of fresh Spirulina sp. as foliar fertilizer in increasing growth of soybean plant. <br />

Research was conducted in ITB Jatinangor screen house with the foliar fertilizer application of concentrated Spirulina sp. 0 g/L, 20 g/L, and 40 g/L. The result of this research showed that foliar fertilizer of fresh Spirulina sp. concentration 0 g/L, 20 g/L, and 40 g/L give the average number of leaves sequentially are 20,883; 19,183; and 19,783; average number of nodes are 9,7; 7,95; and 6,55; average of plant height are 52,33; 54,93 cm; and 50,075; average of leave areas are 21,36; 19,66; and 20,04 𝑐𝑚2; average of flowering time are 45,16 days; 45,5 days; 46,75 days; also leave's chlorophyll content are 28,4 mg/L; 27 mg/L; dan 31 mg/L. This research was using Completely Randomize Design (CRD) with ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) analysis. Statistically analysis resulted that foliar fertilizer application using fresh Spirulina sp. with several concentrations does not give a significant effect to soybean plant's growth.<p align="justify"> |
