However, the cultivation of black <br /> <br /> rice is rarely done because have longer cultivation time (5-6 months) that caused <br /> <br /> lower productivity. The potential benefits of black rice need to be supported by <br /> <br /> increased productivity. One method that can be done to increased productivity by <br /> <br /> using growth hormone, Giberelin (GA3). This study aims to determine the effect of <br /> <br /> giberelin hormone application time (GA3) and determine the best application time <br /> <br /> for growth and yield of black rice varieties Cempo Ireng on the SRI method. The <br /> <br /> study design used was a single factor randomized block design (RAK), which was <br /> <br /> the time of application of the giberelin hormone (GA3) with a concentration of 10 <br /> <br /> ppm. The treatment given is without application (A), application time on the <br /> <br /> vegetative phase (B), application time on generative phase (C), application time <br /> <br /> on panicle filling phase (D). Each treatment was repeated 7 times. The results <br /> <br /> showed a significant effect on the growth parameters of plant height and number <br /> <br /> of tillers, but not significant on the number of leaves, age of flowering, number of <br /> <br /> panicles and yield parameters. The application time on the vegetative phase gave <br /> <br /> the highest plant height of 74.01 cm while the application time on panicle filling <br /> <br /> phase gave the highest number of tillers of 53.43 tillers. Treatment without <br /> <br /> application gives the best results on the growth and yield parameters of plants <br /> <br /> including number of leaves (188 leaves), age of flowering (97 DAP), number of <br /> <br /> panicles (29.71 panicles), 1000 grain-weight (26.62 grams), productivity (3.10 <br /> <br /> tons / ha) and harvest index (39.35%). text |
