One of many aspects that is needed to be considered in the development plan of this terminal for the own interests is the characteristic of the hydrographic phenomenon in the location of the plan. In order to achieve these objectives, hydrographic surveys including tide, current, wave, and wind observation are must be held. All field data is then processed in the tool’s built in software, Microsoft Excel, and Matlab. The analysis of tidal data with the least squares method concludes that the location has the mixed type tide tends to be semidiurnal with the HWS value is 0,441 meter above the approached LAT. The extreme value analysis of waves yields a recommendation of the pier height no less than 1,906 meters above the approached chart datum. The correlation test concludes that there are correlation between wind and surface current and tide with the depth current. The calculation of mooring force by wind and current gives 30,234 N and 1.133,962 N respectively. The current load calculation yields 80,686 kN for drag and 161,372 kN for lift while the wave load is 733,81 N (inertia) and 136,512 N (drag ) at the pole structure and 58,079 kN / m at the edge of the pier. text |
