Description
Summary:
Ecco field, South Sumatra Basin is part of the Pertamina EP operation area, and it is located at 03o30’ – 03o45' S dan 105o00'– 105o15' E. Local stratigraphic analysis is conducted based on the comparison between seismic with cutting and core data from nine wells, which is Sumur Wawan - 1, Wawan - 2, Wawan - 3,

Wawan - 4, Wawan - 5, Yoyok - 1, Yoyok - 2, Ina, Tuti. Based on the comparison, the research area consists of Airbenakat, Gumai, Baturaja, Talangakar, and Lahat Formation. The structural geology of the research area which is represented by NW – SE seismic cross section through well Ina. There is NW – SE lineament as a product from extentional phase tectonic on Eosen – Oligosen, which followed by compressional phase on Plio - Pleistosen.

Geochemical analysis using biomarker, shows that the potential source rock are come from Talangakar Formation and Lahat Formation. It is shown from the value of Tmax that plotted near maturity. The value of TOC above 2% also support the possibility of Talangakar Formation and Lahat Formation as potential source rock. Source rock sample

from Sumur Ina has positive correlation with oil sample from transitional-high oxidation group. Source rock sample from Sumur Tuti also shows positive correlation with oil

sample from transitional-low oxidation group. The oil sample from Sumur Dito consistently shows positive correlation with source rock sample from Sumur Ina.
