Description
Summary:Indonesian Aerospace, Ltd. is the first air force company in Indonesia. Established since 1976, PT Dirgantara has made many changes, especially in terms of production capacity. From the production process there is a step called Surface Treatment from which Indonesian Aerospace, Ltd. gets additional waste from the water purification process using an ion exchange system. With a capacity of 201,717 m3 each time, the waste is now the main waste producer in the Surface Treatment section. In the ion exchange resin regeneration waste, the parameters Cu, Cr, Cr6+, and Cd do not meet the quality standards listed in Annex I of the Minister of Environment Regulation No. 5 of 2014, so that if it is still processed using the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) owned by Indonesian Aerospace, Ltd. at present, waste can pollute the environment of the surrounding water body. For this reason, it is necessary to add a reaction tank and sedimentation unit that can meet the waste processing needs of ion exchange resin regeneration. Waste treatment is carried out by chemical precipitation system and batch sedimentation
