The planning of the museum is based on previously designed architectural drawings to achieve optimal design. The transportation design aspect of the museum includes the parking spaces design and access road pavement structures design. These aspects are designed in accordance with applicable standards and codes. The parking space facilities at the museum which aim to accommodate visitor vehicles are designed with reference to Guidelines for Planning and Operation of Parking Facilities (1998). To provide optimum parking space facilities, a planned parking gate must be able to overcome each parking queue at the entrance and exit. Planning of the access road pavement structure design at Gedabage Contemporary Art Museum was carried out with Road Pavement Design Manual 2017 (No. 04 / SE / Db / 2017) and Bina Marga 2002 Bending Pavement Planning (Pd T-01-2002-B). The selection of designs that will be used for the planning of access roads from these two methods is based on the thickness of the pavement layer. The design with the Pd T-01-2002-B method was chosen because it gives smaller pavement layers. Optimization of road pavement includes design, contractor, operation and maintenance to be carried out so that pavement can provide the best conditions. The results of the design planning of Gedebage Bandung Contemporary Art Museum are expected to be consistent to the planner architects’ design by considering efficiency and effectiveness. text
