If there is much oil saturation that lifted to surface from the reservoir so before the economic natural flow production is end or it can be in the initial life of the reservoir, we can use the enhanced oil recovery (EOR) method to increase the oil recovery. EOR operation needs different surface facilities if it is compared with surface facilities of natural flow field. <br /> <br /> This study concerns about surface facilities that be used in surfactant injection. Designing route and surface facilities for injecting surfactant is one of the factors that determine how injection that is done to reservoir will be optimal and efficient. <br /> <br /> First step in this study is by creating two scenarios, first scenario is there are three injection wells with just one unit of injection surface facilities, and the second scenario is there are three injection wells with each of injection surface facilities. After that, it will be done by varying the injection rate and the amount of injection wells in both scenarios, then, it will be compared which route that gives the optimal result. After we get the optimal route, we can construct the relationship between pump discharge pressure and reservoir pressure. This process of study use the principal in nodal analysis that implemented in PIPESIM. <br /> <br /> Besides the fluid flow model, it will design too the capacity of storage tank that consists of water tank, surfactant storage tank, and stirring tank, then, it will design to the specification of dosing pump that will be used for delivering injection fluid. text |
