The lime contents presented are 0%, 4%, 8%, and 12%. The curing time periods are 0 days, 4 days, 8 days, 16 days, 32 days, 64 days. The mixed water content is provided for the optimum moisture content (OMC), over OMC, and under OMC. On each variable, it would be seen the effect of its lime mixture. The result of research shows that the strength of soil begins to influence 4% lime with the curing time period begins 32 days. The strength of compacted soil in water content condition over optimum (155%) higher than the optimum water content (145%) and under optimum (135%). While for a soil sample compacted with water content condition is far over its optimum water content, the strength of this soil will be dropped from a value of water content of 165%. The CBR test of the peat it is found that the value of unsoaked CBR larger than the value of soaked CBR. The swelling begins to influence after have been soaked for 30 days and to be appear continously up to the 53th day (total swelling).
