To reduce the risk of fire in the area, special guidelines are needed that are different from the standards for planned residential areas. The guide can be refined by referring to the results of simulating the spread of fire in urban dense areas. The fire deployment simulation can be developed in the form of software. In this final project, the software utilizes an event-based spatio-temporal data model.

The event-based spatio-temporal data model for simulating the spread of fire is made based on the fire deployment model based on cellular automata especially the model by Ohgai et al. The algorithm for simulation is then defined based on the data model and based on the cellular automata model. After the data model and algorithm are defined, a fire simulation software simulation design is created by defining the need for the software. Of these needs, developed interfaces and architectures for simulation software.

Software testing is done using a variety of different parameters. Each test has a default parameter that can be called an ideal condition. Based on the testing that has been done, it can be concluded that the fire deployment simulation software can provide a variety of different behaviors based on the parameter values provided. Therefore, the spatio-temporal data model and simulation software developed can be used to simulate the spread of fire in urban dense areas.

text
