Stroke is also a real cause of death and disability worldwide. Defects occur after post-stroke, such as experiencing paralysis on one side of the body, unable to speak, or disturbed vision. The subjects of the study were post-stroke patients who were in the process of recovery, after observation and interviews it is found that walking was important in the rehabilitation process. The problems found that patient’s walking pattern is different from the healthy one and they need a tool to support their foot to walk which has tendency to have foot drop when walking. The solution is to design a footwear that can correct the patient foot by using ankle foot orthosis systems in it, so that the patient can walk properly and reduce the risk of foot drop. Likewise, these footwear can be use by the patient by themselves in order to incrase self-reliance which is the goal of rehabilitation. <br /> text
