The regulation also said that built areas in disaster-prone areas and area that has high risk to climate change should be controlled to reduce disaster risk. Kabupaten Bandung is one of the municipal where the risk to flood is high. Kecamatan Dayeuhkolot is chosen to be the case study in this research. The purposes of the research are to analyze flood risk in this region and to formulate planning and development strategies in flood-prone areas based on Government Regulation Number 13 of 2017. In order to assess flood-risk, first thing to do is analyzing flood hazard which is done by analyzing empirically from historical and recent flood datas to inform about the coverage of innundation, after that the further innundation information such as time and height of innundation are elaborated from interview results qualitatively. The second thing to do is analyzing physical vulnerability of flood which use four indicators; land use, slope, road and drainage conditions, and distance from the river. The result of those assessments are used to assess flood risk in Kecamatan Dayeuhkolot by overlaying those two maps.The result shows that river sides have very high risk. Hence, while high flood risk area is located in Desa Dayeuhkolot.
