The Government of Indonesia has implemented a 3R-based Waste Treatment Site, called TPS-3R, which is regulated in the Minister of Public Works Regulation no. 3 year 2013. One example of TPS-3R which is still operating well is TPS SIPESAT located at the Head Office of Ministry of Public Works at Jalan Pattimura Number 20, South Jakarta. TPS SIPESAT serves only the waste generation from the Central Office of the Ministry of Public Works. The total area of this TPS SIPESAT is 326 m2. Based on the result of waste sampling based on source sampling method referring to SNI 19.3964-1994, waste generation as an input to TPS SIPPESAT is 1.8 ton / day. The composition of waste in this office area is dominated by inorganic waste that is 67.53%, while organic waste is only 32.47%. The highest percentage of waste from inorganic waste is duplex waste which is 20,96%, and at least B3 (Hazardous and Toxic Material) by 0,39%. The waste that goes to the TPS SIPESAT is a mixed waste because in the waste management in the area of this office has not succeeded in applying waste segregation on the source through the separation of waste container. In this design, the main focus of the system is to manage and process waste generation more effectively and efficiently so that there is no more unpleasant smell from waste accumulation at TPS SIPESAT. Land use, facilities, waste processing unit and waste treatment units at TPS SIPESAT will be designed to maximize waste so that waste is not wasted to the landfill. <br /> text
