Yet, for limited amount of lift gas, the existing lift gas resources must be allocated in the most efficient way possible, preferentially to the wells which can make the best use of it. <br /> <br /> <br /> Routine gas lift injection optimization is performed individually in each well by adjusting gas lift flowrate and pressure as well. It results on changing of gas injection flowrate in other wells if optimization is being conducted in one certain well. This event leads to the decrease of field’s total oil production. Moreover, higher compressor power will be required when gas injection flowrate is too high. <br /> <br /> <br /> In this study, utilization of integrated model by using softwares from Petroleum Experts, which are Prosper and GAP, to determine optimized gas lift injection allocation in Field X is discussed. It is able to recommend optimum gas injection flowrate to obtain maksimum oil production efficiently for each well. Sensitivity to different injection amount of available lift gas resource is also conducted. Not only production advantage but lower field operating cost is also obtained due to less amount of lift gas needed. text
