In this final project, a portable <br /> <br /> e-ID verification system is made to verify whether the user of the e-ID card is the <br /> <br /> real card holder based on their personal information and the information stored inside <br /> <br /> the smartcard. The system consists of two subsystems, which are the hardware <br /> <br /> smartcard reader and an Android based software application. Both subsystems are <br /> <br /> integrated using Bluetooth communication. The parties involved in this verification <br /> <br /> system are the smartcard e-ID holder and an operator who helps the verification <br /> <br /> process. This document focuses on the software application’s development. The <br /> <br /> application functions as the system’s interface and to do a visual comparison of the <br /> <br /> card holder's photo and signature input. The verification is semi-automatic on the <br /> <br /> software application’s side, which is installed on the operator's smartphone. An <br /> <br /> operator log database is made to record all verification process done by the operator. <br /> <br /> The testing shows that the subsystem is able to perform well and displays the e-ID <br /> <br /> verification results on the smartphone in the form of the e-ID holder's photo, <br /> <br /> signature, and personal information. <p align="justify"> text |
