Summary: |
Technical Implementation Unit Healthcare service Bumi Medika Ganesa or UPT Yankes BMG is one of the technical implementing unit that serves to provide health services for all ITB equipment and the surrounding public. Although this health service has been done for about 40 years, there is no measuring tool used to asses the performance of the UPT Yankes BMG. Different from healthcare providers in general, UPT Yankes BMG oversaw by ITB institution so that the authority and work processes are limited. In addition, the UPT Yankes BMG is not a business unit so the performance measurement commonly used for clinics in general can not be used. Therefore, the PPI will be used as a performance measurement tool for UPT Yankes BMG.

Process Performance Indicator (PPI) is an indicator used to measure process performance at the operational level. Unlike the Key Performance Indicator (KPI), which is generally used to monitor general condition and strategic issues, the PPI has a more technical and operational scope such as cost, time, and quality. PPI is considered more suitable to be used as an indicator on UPT Yankes because the majority of activities it carried out are closely related to technical and operational. Standard used is Process Classification Framework (PCF) by American Productivity & Quality Center (APQC) It is expected that with the design of PPI to be done, performance measurement of UPT Yankes BMG can be done and standard performance can be determined.

Research identified 80 processes (24% PCF APQC) in UPT Yankes BMG, 35 35 core business processes, and generated 39 PPI
|
