Description
Summary:T
he use of linear algebra has been widely used in various fields, likewise in problems that arise from a digital photo of Earth's surface, which can be solved using linear algebra objects. One of those problems is related with mosaicking, a process of combining two intersecting photos to generate a new photo. Informations recorded on the digital photo can be represented in matrix form whose entries are vectors in an ????-dimensional space.

This thesis studies the problem of mosaicking process by determining an optimal seam line by utilizing matrix theories and its relations with vector spaces, including some of them are projection operators and rotation operators. An algorithm and simulation has been applied for a simple case.
