The process of working with representational painting approach propels the writer's awareness to interpret the art experience well as self-understanding. This final project is her way of comprehending life through the wisdom of the Hindu philosophy. Every person has a way to connect to their past. One's future depends on how they contemplate and having introspection towards their past. Such experience is shown through the writer’s interpretation of Draupadi Vastraharan within the epic of Mahabharata which contains a moral message. The message later inspires the writer to convey emotion, discomfort, restlessness, anxiety, and resignation through the depiction of distorted gesture that is portrayed in certain color spectrum in the manner of chiaroscuro. <br />
