Pertamina Geothermal Energy. Geochemical monitoring was carried out to observe the changes of reservoir fluid characteristics from 2009 to 2013, based on geochemical studies of condensate water and gases from 41 wells. The study of subsurface geology was conducted from cutting and core samples of four wells to determine the litology and alteration. This result was compared to geological data to examine whether the reservoir changes are due to natural factors or exploitation effect.
The result shows that condensation process occurs in almost every production wells and yet boiling process is observed in several wells in the southern area. These two processes that occur are caused by the exploitation process, instead of natural factors.
text
