The goals of this research are to know the spread of potential value of research field, to find the flow pattern of a fluid, and to find the depth of warm fluid based on the flow distribution. This is a passive method which means a method is done without electrical current injection through ground surface with natural potential difference measurement between two points at the ground surface. The data acquisition. We used fix-electrode configuration with distance between the electrodes was 20 meters and the amount of electrodes was 20.. In its application, the SP method can be applied to geothermal exploration, it is based on the electrokinetic mechanism, where the fluid contains the electrolyte flows in the porous medium thus it makes a potential difference.. The qualitative one shows isopotential map which has the minimum -5 mV and the maximum 355 mV. From the potential distribution, we can predict the flow of fluid, which is from south to north. The quantitative one is used to yield the parameters of anomaly source which is indicated by flowing fluid beneath the surface. The result of this research by doing forward modelling and inverse modelling are: horizontal cylindrical as shape of anomaly source and the depth of anomaly is between 803 and 816 meter. text |
