One of IoT (internet of things) technology that have been developing in this era is home automation or smart home. Home automation can control many tools in the house like lamp, AC, CCTV and etc through internet network. The communication network on home automation can used powerline network, or install new UTP network, or install wireless network. Home automation that used powerline network for the communication can be a lot cheaper than the other network infrastructure. Powerline communication is technology that make use of the powerline network to communicate, so there is needn’t to install another networking. However this technology have many weakness, like a lot of noise that distrub the data, and high data attenuation. This research will design home automation devices based of PLC technology that realible with a afforable price.
