| Summary: | This fictitious project belongs to PT. Musica Studio's. It is located on the junction between Jalan Peta, Jalan Otto Iskandardinata, and Jalan BKR, Tegallega, Bandung, West Java. This project is a multifunctional building project. The concert hall complex is designed on an area of 12,600 m2 consisting of two auditoriums with each capacity of 2100 and 1000 people, and a shopping center below with a total building area of 34685.1 m2. This building has eight storeys consisting of four basement parking, two storeys of shopping center, one storey for lobby and office function, and one storey for auditorium. The project is expected to accommodate a variety of performance activities, especially musical performances from local and international performers. This building has the main hall of the two auditoriums and also the podium that functioned as the shopping center. Thus, besides acoustical issue, another issue is circulation and accessibility which must be taken care in the design. The approach taken is to determine the effective form of auditorium for the needs of functions and also the circulation of its users, both the circulation inside the concert hall also the circulation between the concert hall and also the shopping center beneath it. For acoustical issues use the auditorium function approach using international standards for the convenience of the visitors in enjoying the show. |
