Summary: |
Since World War II, tank has been a main destroyer on the battlefield. Today, 60.000 tanks are still operated actively around the world. A lot of researces and developments are done in order to improve three main aspects which are armor protection, mobility, and firepower. Modern tank has been developed into more powerful than ever which usually called as Main Battle Tank (MBT). Since its deadly firepower is able to instantly destroy any threats ahead, it raises the need of operation speed in order to get firs-hit.
Hololens-controlled turret tank idea is to decrease combatants in tank without decreasing operation speed. Tanks generally need four combatants which are commander, loader, gunner, and assistant gunner. However, whole systems we develop could minimize combatants up to only commander and loader needed without decreasing operation speed. There are three modes of operation which are : manual mode, spy mode, and object tracking mode. In this document, we focus mainly on object tracking mode with the use of YOLOv2 as the algorithm.
|
