Sumbawa Timur Mining (PT. STM) with gold and copper exploration prospects. The research area is characterized by steep hills that are part of the volcanic hills and experiencing young geomorphic stage based river flow patterns and the shape of the valley area of research. <br /> <br /> Geological conditions of the study area is characterized by stratigraphy which consists of Tuf Unit, Pyroclastic Breccia Unit, Tuff-lapilli Unit, Lava Andesite A Unit, Lava Andesite B Unit, which formed in Miocene Early-Middle Miocene and intruded by Dacite Intrusion and Phreatic Breccia in the Late Miocene to Early Pliocene. Late Miocene epoch deformation formed some NW-SE normal fault, NE-SW thrust fault, and W-E dextral strike slip fault. After that happened, deformation was happened again which formed N-S normal faults. <br /> <br /> Based on the results of the study, NW-SE normal fault in Sori Hiu became a conduit for mineralizing system High-Sulfidation epithermal characterized by a steamheated zone, vuggy silica zone, massive silica zone, alunite + silica zone, kaolinit + silica zone, and kaolinite + pyrite zone. The spreading zones follow the pattern of NW-SE normal faults. Mineralization porphyry system is present in Sori Hiu and Humpa Leu which are controlled by the presence of dacitic intrusions. The system is characterized by the presence of biotite + magnetite zone, sericite + chlorite + calcite one and abundant presence of chalcopyrite along with the presence of malachite. <br /> <br /> Based on geological mapping, alteration, and structural control study on alteration and mineralization area of research, it can be made a conceptual model alteration. The alteration conceptual model demonstrates the need for more detailed exploration in Sori Hiu and Humpa Leu, because there is positive significant anomaly of Cu.<p align="justify"> text
