This resulted in the accumulation of passengers because the capacity of the train can not affect the number of passengers. <br /> <br /> <br /> One way to increase the capacity of a railway is by changing the fixed block signaling system into a moving block signaling system. Train moving block signaling system is a system that can increase the capacity of the railway by reducing the wasted space on the railroads so that the use of railways becomes more efficient. In this final project, the prototype of train moving block signalling system has five main sub-systems: signal generating system, signal processing systems, data processing and communication systems, railroad switch control system and user interface system on stations and trains. <br /> <br /> <br /> This final project document will explain the implementation of data processing and data communication used in a prototype of train moving block signaling system. Data processing and communication will be processed on NodeMCU microcontroller. The data processed on the NodeMCU microcontroller are position data, speed data and railroad switch control data. In addition, microcontrollers also process data for a train speed control. All data sent and received by NodeMCU microcontroller is done over the internet using MQTT protocol. The implementation of data processing and communication has been successfully done. Microcontrollers can process position data, speed data, railroad switch data and it can control train speed. In addition, microcontroller also managed to send and receive data. <br /> <br /> text |
