According to Blackburn and Lawrence in Seniati (2006), higher education institutions have an important role in preparing someone to occupy positions and join certain professions, transmit culture to the next generation, provide criticism to the community, and produce and apply knowledge, for that college must have a unique organizational culture in order to produce the quality of superior organizational members from other universities. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) currently has an organizational culture brought by the Rector of ITB period 2015-2020, namely ITB HARMONI. The HARMONI word consists of 7 characters, namely Humble, Agile, Respect, Motivated, Outstanding, Nation, and Integrity. In order to socialize the HARMONI character in the ITB environment, the Rector is assisted by the ITB Human Development and Organizational Development Technical Unit (UPT PMO). UPT PMO has often held programs in the form of training and workshops to socialize ITB HARMONI, especially debriefing ITB HARMONI for ITB lecturers and administrative staff. However, from the beginning to socialize ITB HARMONI in 2015 to 2018, the UPT PMO does not have clear facts related to the implementation of the HARMONI character in the ITB environment. Therefore, research is needed regarding the implementation of the HARMONI character in the ITB environment by lecturers and administrative staff to find out the effectiveness of the socialization program held by the UPT PMO so far. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Research on the implementation of HARMONI characters was carried out by distributing questionnaires made by UPT PMO and Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) questionnaires. Questionnaires made by the UPT PMO will measure the behavior of ITB lecturers and administrative staff, where each questionnaire statement represents a behavioral indicator of the HARMONI character. The OCAI questionnaire will help map the current organizational culture profile and organizational culture profile expected in the next five years by lecturers and administrative staff. Furthermore, a correlation test was carried out between the results of the implementation of the HARMONI character and the current organizational culture profile and organizational culture profile expected in the ITB environment. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This study resulted in the percentage of the implementation of the HARMONI character in the ITB environment, the current organizational culture profile and the expected organizational culture profile in the ITB environment, as well as the correlation test between the two. The results of this study are expected to be able to be the data needed by the UPT PMO and the basis for developing a better ITB HARMONI socialization program.<p align="justify"> text |
