Summary: | <p align="justify">The Apartment Fatmawati City Center consists of 28 floors that will be functioned as residencies and has four floors of a basement that will become a parking space. This Apartment located at Fatwawati, South Jakarta. The purpose of this final project is designing pile foundation system that bears the load from the upper structure and designing retaining wall to protect basement excavation. The type of foundation that has designed is a drilled pile foundation and the retaining wall type is a diaphragm wall. The objective of foundation design is to get the configuration, length, and properties of the drilled pile that has a strong enough bearing capacity to handle the structural load and the settlement which occurs below the allowable amount. In this foundation design, there are three types of group pile P1, P2, and P3. The P1 group has 9 pile configuration (3 x 3) that each pile has 31 meters length. The P2 group has 15 pile configuration (5 x 3) that each pile has 48 meters length. The P3 group has 2 pile configuration (2 x 1) that each pile has 11 meters length. Each pile has 80 cm diameter. Then, the dimension of pile cap for the P1 group is 6 x 6 meter, for the P2 group is 6 x 10 meter, dan for the P3 group is 4 x 2 meter. The analysis of the foundation will be assisted by LPILE, GROUP 8.0, and pcaColumn. The design of retaining wall structure has 13-meter excavation. The diaphragm wall has 20-meter depth from the surface and one meter of thickness. Then, ground anchor will be installed at 4-meter depth and 10-meter depth from the ground surface, and each anchor has five and seven pieces of 15 mm diameter strand. The spacing of each strand is 2-meter length. The first ground anchor has 17-meter long of free length and 12,5-meter for bond length. The second ground anchor has 15 meter of free length and 9-meter of bond length. The stage construction consists of 5 stages of excavation and 2 stages of ground anchor installation. The analysis calculated using PLAXIS 2D. The result of the analysis are 1,509 safety factor and the amount of deflection is below the allowable amount.<p align="justify"> |
