This is related to motor coordination, attention, and cognition process aspects. Repetitive movement exercise in a long time is known to increase those three aspects. However, there are indications of physical or mental fatigue. Therefore, a short duration repetitive movement research was conducted to assess brain activity. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of arm flexion-extension repetitive movement on power spectral activity and tendency of mu and beta frequencies in motor area in both hemisphere. EEG signal was obtained from 3 volunteers and recorded at the brain motor center of channel C3 (left hemisphere) and channel C4 (right hemisphere) which performed right arm flexion-extension repetitive movement in 3 training sessions with each session lasted for 4 minutes. Brainwave activity data was processed into mean power spectral and mean frequency of mu (8-13 Hz) and beta (14-30 Hz) wave. Based on power spectral analysis, there was a decrease in mu and beta power spectral average at C3 and C4 during 3 training sessions. A decrease of mu wave power indicated the condition of neuronal activation, otherwise a decrease of beta wave power indicated a decrease in attention level. Statistically, during 3 training sessions there were significant difference in the decrease in mu and beta wave power spectral in both channels (p<0,05), and significant difference in mu and beta power spectral between two hemisphere (p<0,05). Mu and beta frequencies were at low frequency range and decreased between movement sessions. During 3 training sessions, there were significant difference in the decrease in mu frequency at C4 and in beta frequency in both channels (p<0,05), and there are significant difference in mu frequency between two hemisphere (p<0,05). From this study, it can be concluded that there is a decrease in power spectral and low frequency range of mu and beta waves in motor area in both hemisphere during right arm flexion-extension repetitive movements that shows neuron activation due to simple motor movement and decrease in attention level.<p align="justify"> text
