<p align="justify">Connectivity between Adi Soemarmo Airport and center of Solo City through the railway network requires the station as a means of departure and dismissal of passenger trains. Stations are expected to be intermodal nodes that can make it easy for prospective passengers to access their transport needs. The stations located in the airport area are expected to accommodate the needs of integrated transport inter- ode. Adi Soemarmo Airport Railway Station project is located at the airport area in Boyolali district with a land area of approximately 3520 m2. Ministry of Transportation as the owner of this project is planned to provide management of the station to PT. Railink as an airport station operator in Indonesia. Airport station is different from the station in general, this station is a modern airport needs as a new transportation node so that the station is part of the unity with the airport. The airport station is designed with attention to the activities of users who are mostly passengers. The general purpose of the design of Adi Soemarmo Airport Station is as a building that meets the needs of inter-mode transport shifts from one transportation system to another. The general concept of the design of this airport station is the “Transition of Movement”, taken from the context of the airport station itself by combining the concept of locality and modernity. The excellence of Adi Soemarmo Airport Station design is to take the form concept of gamelan instrument by designing a dynamic and bright atmosphere in accordance with the character of Solo City.<p align="justify">
