In a suitable habitat, Gastropods can easily grow in the area. This research was conducted for 30 days (December-January 2017-2018) on rocky beach, sandy beach, mangrove and a freshwater lake on Pulau Weh, Aceh. Sampling Gastropods was performed using a 1x1m square plot method consisting a total of 15 plots for each ecosystem. The result covers 25 families consisting of 32 genera and 38 species. The family with the highest abundance is Potamididae which is the most common mangrove gastropod found in Indo-West Pacific. On the sandy beach, they are mainly represented by Neritidae which are usually attached to corals and are algae eaters; while on the rocky beach is dominated by Cerithiidae which are algae or detritus feeder; while in the lake, they are mainly represented by Subulinidae which are herbivores or detritus feeder. Comparison employing Morisita similarity index showed that the similarities between the four places does not exceed 50%. Only between sandy and rocky beaches have a similarity value of 17.43%. The value of species differences are due to differences in habitat. The lake habitat is covered with grasses so that the Sublinidae members can get food easily. The composition of the most different species was found in the Lake habitat, inhabited by land Gastropods. Weh Island species diversity using the Shannon-Wiener (H’) index is 1.38. When compared to the diversity of species on the west coast of Aceh Besar (H’=1.83) and Langkawi Island, Malaysia (H’= 0.96) can be said that Pulau Weh has moderate diversity. Judging from the similarity in species composition using the Morisita similarity index, the mangrove of Weh Island has similarities to Langkawi Island and the West Coast of Aceh Besar, caused by species found in these three places are generalist. The composition of Weh Island species is strongly influenced by habitat types, because the species found are special species such as Cerithidea cingulata which are only found in mangroves and Paropeas obelisciforme which are only found on land / fresh water. <br /> <p align="justify"> text
