Summary:PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk. is one of many cement companies that runs their business in Indonesia and has four factories in Lhoknga - Aceh, Narogong - West Java, Cilacap - Central Java and Tuban - East Java. Plant production of PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk. located in Narogong currently still rely on Electrostatic Precipitator (EP) to control dust as air pollution in the production area of Rawmill / Kiln. On the other hand, there is a change in dust resistivity caused by the use of Refused Derived Fuel (RDF) which is a major problem in particulate removal so that the EP is deemed inadequate in removing the particulate under these conditions. It is necessary to replace the device with different removal methods that has higher efficiency and suits by current conditions of the process at PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk. The production line being reviewed is NAR1, in this production line the particulate control device is planned to be transformed into a mechanical filtration system using a Compartmentalized Pulse Jet Baghouse Filter with a fabric filter material of non-woven spun bonded Orlon. This device will handle 11166.67 m3 / minute of flow rate with an initial particulate concentration of 67,612 g / m3.
