Innovation can be said as the exploitation of new ideas that leading the creation of new processes, products, or services. Nowadays, about 300 million person around the world are trying to start startups, in Indonesia, at least more than 2000 startups since 2016 and the highest in Southeast Asia. In fact, not all startups survived, many are successful but more other fail. IBM Institute for Business Value and Oxford Economic in 2017 found that one of the common reason why startups fail due to lack of innovation in new technology, business models, and low employee skills. So it becomes urgency in every startups to innovate in every part of business in order to can compate. <br /> <br /> In previous studies (Hendarman & Cantner 2017; Mina, et al, 2005) reveal that there is a linked between skills and innovation that is can generate new ideas, adjust technolohy and changing in organization. In addition, organizational learning culture also influence innovation (McKee, 1992). <br /> <br /> Based on this reason, the autor tries to find whether skills and organizational learning culture have positive relationship with individual innovativeness in startups companies in Indonesia. In this case, soft skills, hard skills, and organizational learning culture are the variable that needed to test. This reserach used quantitative method with distributed the questionnaire to 281 employee’s who working in startups companies located in Jakarta and Bandung area in May-June 2018, this questionnaire used to explore relationship between independent variable (soft skills, hard skills, organizational learning culture) and dependent variable (individual innovativeness) and the data from questionnaire were processed using multiple linear regression. This reserach using two models; individual level and firm level, and also using control variable as control between them. <br /> <br /> The result from this reserach is soft skills, hard skills, and organizational learning culture have positive relationship towards individual innovativeness. among three variable, organizational learning culture have a strong relationship with individual innovativeness. this result should important to better understanding about skills and organizational learning culture as a one of important aspect in increase individual innovativeness. text
