The brushless dc motor (BLDC) can be an option, because BLDC motors have higher efficiency compared to induction motors and do not produce carbon dioxide. Driving BLDC motor requires an electrical controller. The electrical controller will manipulate inverter current output that flows into the motor. The control system used can be either torque or speed control. This final project will discuss torque and speed control algorithm design on BLDC motor. To design the control system, it is necessary to find the BLDC motor parameters. The control system is a closed loop control system with current and speed feedbacks. The control system circuit will be simulated using PSIM before implemented to a microcontroller. The experiment results show that the control algorithm is running according to the desired torque and speed references. <br /> <p align="justify"> text |
