Summary:The cashless payment system has a significant impact on the Indonesian economy and also transportation which is reducing transaction times and increases effectiveness. This research analyses map system, adoption, impact, and the future of cashless system (e-money and mobile payment) on transportation system in Indonesia. To analyses the adoption, the author uses the Technology Acceptance Model that comprises four dimensions which is Cashless Characteristics (Mobility, Reachability, Compatibility, and Convenience), Individual Differences (Innovativeness and Cashless System Knowledge), Adoption Readiness (Perceived Usefulness, Ease of Use, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions), and Perceived Credibility Risk (Security Risk and Privacy Rik). Using questionnaire tools that based on conventional and non-probability methods, the author gathers 280 respondents for electronic money card adopter and 269 for mobile payment adopter. The result from PLS indicates that all data are valid and reliable to use for the research. Perceived Usefulness and Facilitating Conditions are the primary reasons for the intention to use electronic money card and Mobile Payment. The compatibility and convenience also have a significant effect to increases Perceived Usefulness of Electronic Money Card and Mobile Payment. The users also did not concern about their Privacy Risk and Security Risk while using the electronic money card and Mobile payment. The future of a cashless payment system in Indonesia also supported by the Indonesian government that launched the National Cashless Payment Movement to increases the adoption and business actors of cashless payment services. <br /> <br /> Keywords: Cashless Payment, E-Money, Mobile Payment, Technological Acceptance Model, Transportation System, Indonesia.
