Departing from this problem, a web-based visualization applications that are user friendly is developed in this study. so that visualization can be done anywhere without the need for high specifications, without having to install anything, easy to be used by ordinary users, and also to be able to perform visualization integration from the results of research conducted by students of the Master of Informatics ITB <br /> <br /> GeoMapViz application is developed using a javascript programming language that contains the logic process of the application, the action process of each feature of the application, as well as the content generator of the application. Then to be able to display all layouts, menus, buttons, and other interface is developed using HTML programming language. to be able to display the map as base layer, geomapviz use the mapping canvas provided by leaflet. And to be able to make the application lightweight does not require high specification hardware and not easy to use, the application is limited to only support 5 main features needed by the city government that is to be able to visualize mobility, point of interest, the density of the condition of a region, congestion, and to be able to verify the validity of data. <br /> <br /> Based on the survey results, 60% of the respondents agree that GeoMapViz application is more User Friendly compared to QGIS which is currently the most popular application to visualize geographic data, and based on performance test result, GeoMapViz application proved faster in doing the process of visualization compared to similar web-based applications. <p align="justify"> text |
