Without the motivation and interest of student in a subject, self-study will be difficult to be done due to the dependency of students toward their teacher. The proposed solution is the implementation of information technology in a form of a game. Game can motivate students better due to the incorporation of interesting animation, not to mention narration that can trigger student’s curiosity to reveal the end of the game. Blended learning method is evaluated to be suitable to be implemented in this globalization era, due to the incorporation of traditional learning method and technology and it’s considered to be very good to elevate student’s competence due to the learning process being not too restricted by space and time. The case study is Two Variable Linear Equation System for 8th grade (Junior High School), specifically being conducted in SMP 48 Bandung. The result shows that the use of digital game can motivate students to study the subject, as 90.91% of respondent stated that they are interested in playing the games again. text
