An evaluation is done because the funnel diagram shows that the ratio between customers who logged in and did a transaction is quite low, which are 0,23% for online goods-retailing feature and 0,1% for online goods-entrusting feature. Other than that, discussion with company party also suggested that there are indications of usability issues due to a comprehensive test with an actual end-user has never been done. Usability evaluation that is being used is a combination of usability testing and usability inquiry, in the forms of performance measurement for effectiveness, efficiency and user satisfaction, think-aloud protocol and questionnaire. Research is conducted to 80 participants, which are classified into four groups, based on age (18-24 years and 25-34 years) and experience (non-expert and expert). The result of this research shows that effectiveness for both features is good, but both features have poor efficiency and user satisfaction. Learnability rate for goods-retailing feature is good while for goods-entrusting is poor. From both tested features, it is known that difference between age groups does not have significant effect on performance in usability testing. Lastly, this research generates 22 improvement suggestions, 7 improvement suggestions for Prelo mobile application in general, 7 improvement suggestions for online goods-retailing feature and 8 improvement suggestions for online goods entrusting feature. text |
