Summary: | Hovertube train is a future transportation that utilize levitation principle by using air cushion in order to lift the train. This train move within the octagon tunnel. The stability of the hovertube was yet to be well maintained based on its preliminary design. Therefore, a valve with control system is required to control the opening angle of valve so the stability could be maintained. There are three testings carry out in static condition in order to measure the performance of control system. First testing was done without any disturbance. Then, second and third testing was conducted with disturbance in backside and front of hovertube. The result of all testings proved that the control system is able to maintain the stability of hovertube in both with or without disturbance. |
