Another beam is made of normal concrete that name BN beam (fc\' = 29.5 MPa ) The investigation based on load-deflection and moment-curvature curve shown that the flexural strength depend of concrete strength, the higher strength of concrete made higher the flexural strength. Comparisons between the flexural strength at inner support area and the load point area, it can be concluded that the inner support area is the weakness point of the continuous T beam. In crack pattern side the behavior of normal concrete is a little bit different with high strength concrete, especially after the cracking move from flange to web area, BN beam have longitudinal crack and this case not found at high strength concrete. text |
