The bagasse contains high cellulose fibers that can <br /> <br /> be utilized as raw materials for environmental-friendly textiles and fashion <br /> <br /> products. Sugarcane has potential characteristics that can be used for fashion <br /> <br /> products such as bags which can be categorized as an eco-friendly product <br /> <br /> because of the rapid process of biodegradation. <br /> <br /> The exploration of bagasse from sugar cane drinks production by mixing bagasse <br /> <br /> with natural latex that processed through the adoption of non-woven textile <br /> <br /> techniques produces materials with various motifs and textures. Characteristics of <br /> <br /> the material can be adjusted while making the initial structure of the material to <br /> <br /> support design needs. The result of the explorations produce environmentalfriendly <br /> <br /> non-woven materials in the form of solid sheet that is suitable for fashion <br /> <br /> bags such as hand bag, clutch, and sling bag that is eco-friendly and functional, <br /> <br /> and become an alternative solution to prevent environmental pollution and utilize <br /> <br /> the waste from sugarcane extraction process. text |
