In addition, there are four room user problems as respondent, comprise of the terms of the color used, difference of the eyes abilities, lights with shadows and the illusion of colors combination. The development of smartphones are very massive can be used as a tool to support designing, but so far there has been no use of smartphones to help to analyze colors. Meanwhile, the head mounted display (HMD) actually could help users to represent color vision, because the HMD is properly applicable for the eyes. The purpose of this study is to reveal the needs and perceive the smartphone applications in order to help analyzing color preferences of interior design with real-time technology based on HMD. Data collection was conducted to analyze the needs of design through the medium of literature reviews, questionnaires, interviews and observation. The design is done with iterative design method, by designing, implementing and finally evaluating. Evaluation use the Heuristic method that resulted the ease of use index of 90.4% or the application is very well designed for ease of use and next evaluation use USE Questionnaire method that resulted the usefulness index of 76.76% or the application is well designed for usefulness. It can be concluded that the problem of interior design color selection can be solved by using smartphone media as a tool to help analyze colors based on room user preferences.<p align="justify"> text |
