Analysing Relations of Bandung City Government Policy to the Role of Product Design Entrepreneur in Bandung Creative Economy Development

Product design-entrepreneurs play a role in Bandung creative economy development. In the other hand, there is a Bandung city government policy that facilitate creative economy actors including product design entrepreneurs. Unfortunately, there has been no research that discusses about Bandung city government policy impact to the role of product design-entrepreneus in Bandung creative economy development. Using literature study and interview method, in this research found that Bandung city goverment is less than optimal for communicating the creative economy program to creative economy actors including designer product entrepreneurs. Design/ Product Design Association in Bandung as a communication bridge between Bandung city goverment and product design-entrepreneus are still looking for institutional. So the role has not been real.
