This art performance is a form of satire and dislike of the society at that time against the oppression of foreign invaders. As one art that was born in the days of colonialism, many lessons can be drawn from the history of this art. One is the value of anti-oppression. Students are supposed to learn the value of anti-oppression. Because by knowing this value the learner can withstand the many acts of oppression around him. For example, bullying witch is happening in the school environment. But unfortunately there is no effective medium that introduces anti-oppressive values contained in 'Sisingaan' art to the students. So it needs the right media to deliver this value. Comics as a form of entertainment media is quite popular among high school students. Beside printed comic, because of easy access, high school students favored digital comic forms. Motion comic is one form of digital comics that several decades are beginning to be introduced. By using simple animated comics that had been static moved. Motion comics can provide new experiences for readers. The existence of additional elements of visual effects and sound effects provide a new experience for the reader. For that selected media in the form of motion comic reconstruct the story behind the art of 'Sisingaan' to be more interesting for high school students. The design method starts from the literature review of the content and then searches the data to obtain the design basis. Library study in the form of comic theory, motion graphic, and motion comic. The data search was done after the literature study was obtained. Data in the art history of 'Sisingaan', survey through questionnaires to high school students, and observation of comparative works of the same kind. The data then in the analysis used as a reference media design. The design of motion comic, which can then be published through social media. The design is expected to make high school students understand the value contained in the art of 'Sisingaan'. text |
