Summary:Abstract <br /> <br /> Nagari Government System, emerged along with the Reformation era which demand regional autonomy through the enactment of Law number 22/1999 about local Government, is reimplemented in Sumatera Barat Province with the spirit to preserve the local customs and cultures that have been established for hundreds of years. <br /> <br /> This research strives to observe the role of Nagari system with its custom uniqueness in the implementation of Nagari Financial Management, in which attributed to good governance. <br /> <br /> It also compares the conformity between Indigenous System (Sistem Adat) and Village System (Sistem Desa). The study employed a quantitative analysis using Actor Network Theory. <br /> <br /> The result of this study showed that Nagari system complimented with its various elements is able to perform a good government which is proven by the fulfillment if good governance indicators. Nevertheless, this achievement is not supported with the special treatment; one of them is the uniformity of income in Village Funding (Dana Desa). It may create a problem due to the differences between villages in general with Nagari as Indigenous Village with all its complexity. <br /> <br /> Keywords: Nagari, Good Governance, Village Autonomy, Indigenous Village, the Village Fund <br /> <br />
