LIMBAH DENGAN TEKNIK MEMBRAN CAIR EMULSI Marlina, Ari Indonesia Theses INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/2953 <b>ABSTRACT</b><br> <br /> Extraction of Cr (VI) from water solution of electroplating by liquid membrane emulsion technique have been done, where the emulsion membrane consists of kerosene as solvent, span 80 as surfactant, tributyl phosphate (TBP) as carrier and NaHCO3 as internal phase.</p> Optimum condition obtained for extraction Cr (VI) ion from solution of 100 ppm Cr were as follows: TBP concentration was 5% (v/v), Span 80 was 5% (v/v), parafin was 1%, internal phase concentration was 0,3M, the ratio of internal phase volume to organic phase volume was 1: 2, time of emulsion formation was 5 minutes, rate of emulsion formation was 4400 rpm, the ratio of emulsion phase volume to external phase volume was 1:5, contact time of emulsion with external phase was 5 minutes and contact rate of emulsion with external phase was 300 rpm. The influence of several ions for chrom ion extraction was also studied. Iron, copper, nickel and zink ions were also extraction by the liquid membrane membrane, but the presence of these ions in chrom ion solution did not change the percent extraction of chrom ion text |
